A repeatable packing plan for your business

|Box Supply Co.

Record the box size, board specification, protection and finished parcel for each product. Use that record to compare suppliers and repeat a packing method consistently.

Give each product a packing specification

Record the usable internal dimensions, box construction, protective materials and the way the item is arranged inside. Add your supplier’s item code so a colleague can identify the same box next time.

  • Product or group: what is being packed together.
  • Internal size: length × width × height, with units.
  • Construction: the supplier’s actual board specification.
  • Pack count: how many individual boxes you receive.
  • Accessories: any tape, inserts or protective material.
  • Finished parcel: packed external size and total weight.

Compare the delivered order

Divide the pack price by its number of boxes to compare price per box. Then include delivery and any separately purchased accessories when comparing the complete order. Keep VAT treatment consistent between suppliers.

Construction needs more than a label

Single-wall and double-wall describe a box’s construction. The actual board grade, dimensions, closures, conditions and contents also matter. Ask for the supplier’s specification and any relevant tested limits rather than assuming a larger or double-wall box suits every load.

Keep what worked—and check what changed

Photograph the packing arrangement and keep it with the specification. Recheck the fit and protection whenever your product, supplier, protective material or delivery method changes.

Our first range is in development. We will publish confirmed sizes, quantities and ordering information before sales open.

Calculate the internal space you need

How do I calculate the delivered cost per box?

Add the box-pack price and its delivery charge, then divide by the number of individual boxes. Compare suppliers using the same VAT basis. Record separately purchased tape and protection separately so you can also compare complete packing costs.

Illustrative calculation: a pack of 25 boxes at £20 plus £5 delivery costs £25 ÷ 25 = £1 per box on the same VAT basis. These are example figures, not Box Supply Co. prices.
